My  Process

Drawing or painting live models with other artists each week has been part of my skill building process for many years. Here are some examples of those fast sketches. When I do a portrait, doing a quick sketch of the subject in person first allows me to directly observe their features and skin tones and get insight into their personality. That, and well lighted photos all result in a more successful final portrait.
